Dear visitor, As announced on the opening page and the news page, the Berkshire Music Institution would like to do auditions for musicians and singers. We would like to do this to get a number of ensembles (from choirs to instrumental groups) together in order to give our students a chance to improve their skills, and acquire new skills in group performance. We would also like to give members of the community a chance to get creative and to be part of a choir and/or a musical ensemble. We might even be able to offer the more talented people a (semi)professional career. Obviously we need to do auditions to see how skilled you are, in order to put you in the right group(s). There would be no charge at such to perform in a group, except for a small monthly fee to cover the cost of the rehearsal venue and other expenses (the more people we have, the smaller the fee will be). If you would like to audition, please fill in the form below (it is a bit lengthy, apologies for that, but we need as much detail as possible). When we receive your submission, we will then arrange an appointment for you and after your audition, you might well find yourself a member of a choir, band or orchestra.
